Stettler Alberta Drop-In Floor Hockey
Who Can Play?
It doesn’t matter if you are out of shape and get winded easily.
It doesn’t matter if you have energy for days and want to show off your skills.
Adult Men and Women are invited to join us for casual, just for fun floor hockey in Stettler, Alberta.
When is it?
Every Wednesday evening.
7:15PM to 9:15PM Starting October 4th, 2023

Stettler Christ-King Catholic School Gym.

What Does it Cost?
$5 Drop-in fee. First game is free to check it out.
What Should I Bring?
Must Have:
- A stick
Option 1: A regular hockey stick with a sock taped over the blade to protect the floor. (We can help you with that)
Option 2: A plastic blade ball hockey/road hockey stick.
Option 3: I bring extra sticks to each game if you don’t have one. - Non-marking shoes. We need to keep the gym floor protected and mark free.
Optional:
- Water Bottle
- Shin pads
- Gloves
- Any other protective gear
How We Play:
We put our sticks in the middle, and someone randomly sorts them into 2 teams.
We play until one team scores 10 goals, then we take a short break.
Rinse and repeat until times up.
What are the people like?
This is a “just for fun and exercise” event; the skill levels range widely.
We only allow people who are welcoming and understanding of the vastly different skill levels where appropriate.

If you are coming late, that’s fine, just knock on the gym doors and we will let you in.
